Information the Application May Access

Camera Access

The Application may request permission to use your device camera so that you can scan printed addresses. Camera access is used only when you choose to use the scanning feature.

Photo Library Access

The Application may request access to images you select from your photo library so that an address contained in the selected image can be recognized. The Application does not require access to your entire photo library when the operating system permits you to select individual images.

Recognized Address Information

Text and address information recognized from a camera image or selected photo may be processed to identify a destination and prepare it for mapping or navigation.

Location Information

Snap To Nav may request location access when needed to provide mapping, route selection, nearby results, or navigation features. Location permission can be changed at any time in your device settings.

Device and Diagnostic Information

The Application may process limited technical information such as device model, operating-system version, Application version, crash information, and diagnostic logs when needed to maintain and improve reliability.

How Information Is Used

Information associated with the Application may be used to:

• Recognize text and street addresses from images.
• Present a recognized address for your confirmation.
• Open a confirmed destination in a supported map or navigation service.
• Improve scanning accuracy, stability, and performance.
• Diagnose crashes and technical problems.
• Respond to support requests.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Image and Address Processing

Snap To Nav uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to perform optical character recognition (OCR) on images captured with the camera when scanning an address. The recognized text is then analyzed by Snap To Nav to identify a usable street address and prepare it as a navigation destination.

OCR processing is performed on your device using Apple's system frameworks. Snap To Nav does not send scanned images to a third-party artificial intelligence or OCR service for text recognition.

Images used for address scanning are not permanently stored by TwoTechWest. Images may remain temporarily in device memory while text recognition and address detection are being performed.

Apple Maps and Navigation Services

Snap To Nav uses Apple's MapKit framework to provide maps, route information, estimated travel times, traffic information, and navigation features. When you request directions or use navigation, information necessary to provide those features may be transmitted to Apple, including your current location, destination, route information, and transportation mode. Apple's collection and use of this information is governed by Apple's privacy policies. TwoTechWest does not operate Apple's mapping, routing, traffic, or location services and does not control how those services process information.

TwoTechWest does not control the privacy practices, availability, or accuracy of third-party mapping and navigation services.

Disclosure of Information

TwoTechWest does not sell your personal information. Information may be disclosed only when you direct the Application to share it, when necessary to provide a requested third-party service, or as described below.

Legal Requirements and Protection of Rights

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, investigate possible violations, protect the rights, property, or safety of users or others, or comply with applicable law.

Business Transfer

If TwoTechWest is reorganized, acquired, merged, sells assets, ceases operations, or enters bankruptcy, information associated with the Application may be transferred to a successor as permitted by law.

Security of Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information associated with the Application. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices and Permissions

You may control camera, photo library, location, and other permissions through the Settings application on your device. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from operating.

You may stop using the Application and delete it from your device at any time.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and TwoTechWest does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us.
